Yearly Programs

All programs likely to be modified in scope due to limited gym availability

All COVID protocols will be enforced

Junior Saints (1st and 2nd grade children)

• Foundational program
• Skills and drills sessions to teach passing, dribbling and shooting
• Program runs 8 Sundays and is hosted at MMOG Parish Center
• Session dates subject to change due to weather cancellation.
• Awards will be presented on the final day of the program.
• Request one parent "coach" per 6 attendees; Board will oversee skills content.
• Following times are approximate:

3rd Grade Instructional League

• Instructional league for 3rd grade children. Seperate boys and girls teams.
• Our HS players will be mentor Junior referees 
• 90 minutes allotted weekly, 30 minutes for skill drills and practice followed by an instruction based "game."
• Program runs up to 8 Sundays
• Typical sessions are in January and February, times TBD
• Information about teams and coaches will be distributed after registration closes.

4th-8th Grade League

• The largest program in the Diocese of Metuchen league. THIS IS A TRAVEL LEAGUE and is competitive. Locations cover from Carteret to Basking Ridge.
• Approximately 8 games each Saturday (8:30am-8:30pm) in the MMOG Gym; games 12/11-12/18 and 1/22-3/12.
• Home games are played at the MMOG gym, away games could be as far as 45 minutes away.
• Coaches notify players of team placements after registration closes.

High School League

• Manage a local league for High School children.
• There is both a Boys and a Girls League. HS Varsity players are ineligible to play
• Teams from other programs field teams: St. Joseph (boys) and St. Joseph, St. James, and St. Bernard (girls)
• MMOG arranges for gate/concession, secures gym permits, manages scheduling, provides table officials and certified referees
• Program typically runs 8 Sundays and is hosted at Hillsborough High School, MMOG or Auten Road School
• Coaches notify players of team placements after registration closes.

Payment methods:

For your convenience we accept registration payments made with Visa, Master Card, and e-check. We will not be able to accept American Express or Discover due to vendor limitations.  Registration is NOT COMPLETE until all fees are paid including Work Bond for Grades 4 to 8; players will not be placed on teams until all fees are paid. No refunds once a player has been rostered. If you have a financial hardship, please contact us or the parish office.

Team formation for Grades 4 through 8 is expected to be completed by 10/30. All registrants will be contacted by their respective coach or the web admisistrator within 7 days of team formation.

Additional Event

Turkey Classic

• Manage a pre-season tournament the weekend before Thanksgiving

• Two other programs participate (St. Joseph and St. Matthias)

• MMOG Board arranges for gate/concession, secures gym permits, manages scheduling, provides table officials and certified referees
